Website completely broken without WebGL: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)."

It displayed for a moment but then failed. I guess Progressive Enhancement is no longer cool.

You are browsing the web via a graphical user interface with web graphics library disabled and complaining that you can’t see graphics?
There are ways of putting graphics on screen without requiring users to have WebGL enabled/supported. I think my mobile browser has it disabled for security.
You are on Hacker News but being dumb?
Hah that actually hurt my feelings, touché! My regretfully obnoxious tone was inspired by my love for WebGL. It bums me out that people abuse it to the point that the most privacy and security obsessed folks disable it altogether.

I apologize for the snark, it was unwarranted. I spend a lot of time building stuff with WebGL, and it pains me to know that all my work could be for naught. I’m curious, why do you personally reject WebGL?

Well your response did not exactly incentivize me to respond with sincerity. You're right though, I'm an idiot for having user preferences!
