Learning point 9 early will save you a lot of pain. I'd add this:
Care about your job, do your best, learn, grow. It'll serve your career and it'll serve your happiness/satisfaction. HOWEVER, accept that things will go wrong/dumb decisions will be made, and it's not all up to you to fix. If other people make dumb moves, you don't have to die on the hill. Let others fail, it's good for them too. I promise you that nobody will actually care after it's over. It's not worth the mental agony. |
