Anyone have any anecdotal (or other studies) reproducing this outcome? I've had severe sleep problems for 10+ years, after begging the Dr to test VitD my 25(OH)D result came out at 8ng/mL. Dr said that's OK and I shouldn't supplement... but literally everywhere classifies 8ng/mL as deficient, so I did supplement 3000IU D3 (+ K2 MK7) for 6 months which seemed to marginally improve my sleep then paid for a re-test, now 48ng/mL. Upon seeing this result the Dr said it's very high and to immediately stop supplementing but it still puts me below the 60-80ng/mL range where the improvements were observed in this study. Tempted to try supplementing D3 a bit further now until I test in the 60-80 range to see if it helps. |
