I appreciate that Apple are spending their ML efforts building things that are actually useful for their users, like improving the iOS keyboard and photo processing pipeline, rather than frantically jumping on the latest fad bandwagon with yet another LLM chatbot that gushes out plausible sounding nonsense.

I keep seeing these claims, but the keyboard is nigh unusable with the latest updates compared even to the very first version they shipped with the original iPhone.
