Dusk of the 5th. I suppose you could call the night of the fourth november around midnight as 'Guy Fawkes Eve'. <grin> Sadly, we've lost all those fireworks that used to be so much fun on that night. Notwithstanding the loss of sight and a few fingers that often occurred. It was the only way way we could play with explosives as kids. (Until some friends and I as 12-year-olds raided a quarry and discovered the joys of gelignite and detonators, but that's another story.) |
