I once saw a project where a guy had taken an old 1980s chevy cavalier, chopped off and capped everything past the engine firewall and turned it into a trailer that he attached to his EV and used as a generator for long trips. This was janky and amusing but I feel like this concept is a great one for solving the range problem. Just rent a generator trailer for long trips, or you could buy one if you used it semi-often. |
