One of the worst projects I ever consulted on was the one where they couldn't give sound reasoning for many of the key decisions they made early on, before I was brought in board to add some expertise in the tech stack they chose. In retrospect, providing guidance was never going to help because they never understood the "why" for what they were doing. |
