Yep. It's easy to skip the TCO analysis to make it seem like it's "helping" in the context of a study trying to sell another study. The Bill Gates-associated method of spraying fine lye in a hyperboloid tower seems the most effective, perhaps at a slightly higher pressure of 2-3 atm to both increase the temperature and reactivity. The lye would be produced in a closed carbon cycle process using renewable energy sources. |
