Chris Roberts had a peculiar Hollywood moment with the 1999 “Wing Commander” movie that he directed. Hollywood producers won’t let you keep endlessly polishing a turd on their dime, so the movie went to theaters with Kilrathi puppets that look like constipated hairless rodents locked in green gas bubbles. It’s a marvel of terrible science fiction. |
