The history of yarn is fascinating. Dependency management in our monorepo is super smooth since we use it. We are on version 3.6 right now. I admire that arcanis tried something very bold with plug and play and zero installs in version 2 and 3, but is willing to default back to node_modules since it didn't stick. Must have been hard to come up with something this good, but then nearly everyone rejecting it. |
