Hah, I'm surprised he mentioned Lauterbach at all. It's ruthlessly powerful, but not remotely hacker / user friendly.

Lauterbach is much beloved in many hacker / reversing communities, largely for its power and wide compatibility.
Not an easy thing to start with, I'll certainly grant you that.
