Tiddlywiki is a single selfcontained javascript executable, would make more sense to me. As of yet I'm very happy with my simple obsidian and hugo setup.
What exactly is the problem with hugo or ssg in general? I think they are fantastic. You want a webserver to host only static files, some javascript/wasm for dynamic stuff if needed and if really needed sqlite for persistent shared storage. It reminds me of the guy who coded and compiled his impressive crypto exchange in c by hand to get the attack surface low and the performance extremely high. Does anyone remember the name of the site? I think he mentioned (years ago) he was on the brink of giving up. |
