| Hi HN, My name is Sam and I’d like to share atica, my effort and startup to use introspection and novel engineering to build autonomous synthetic persons, a vision that LLMs have yet to achieve. I spent the last 6 months ‘washing dishes’ and doing deep, deep thinking and introspecting to build a model of what I think a mind is. I recently incorporated and decided to seek funding to extend my runway, I have been using personal savings thus far. I’m interested in chatting with like-minded folks who are interested in the idea of modeling the human mind, not just intelligence, with a fresh engineering and philosophical perspective to what’s out there currently. This is my passion, and I see a long road ahead. I would appreciate any pointers on raising funding or introductions. I hope this small glimpse into what I’m working on and my view of artificial intelligence through the lens of psychology sparks the interest of some out there. Thanks!
