No. What's currently popular is normalizing talking about mental health and wellbeing. Not everyone has the privilege to get a diagnosis, much less, get proper care or treatment. Talking about these issues on social media is an outlet for people to not feel so lonely or isolated. The article quotes a few people. One of the quotes is, "The accounting team is not happy with me providing this time off, because it’s a liability for the company". Another quote is equating not taking sick days to having a "work ethic". Read the article. Companies just want to company. |
