They’re positioning to introduce a crapload of ads to lower tiers and become and ad supported service. As they do this they have to use the YouTube strategy of “adding enough value” by raising prices to keep from undercutting the ad supported service. Classic television executive thinking and just God awful user experience. Netflix is quickly becoming the next Comcast. |
