We at LinkedIn have been using CDE's (we call them rdev) for quite a while. We wrote about them in our engineering blog: https://engineering.linkedin.com/blog/2021/building-in-the-c... I'm happy to answer questions but others have already posted many of the benefits. As far as I know, local containers on macOS still have performance issues so we mostly use them in the cloud. |
