Kickstarter rejected my application to fund/finish an app for survivors of a certain disease. It was a strong application - I don't think that was the issue - I guess it just wasn't shiny enough for KS to warrant giving it a shot at crowd-sourced funding.

It's interesting to watch the evolution of projects that the KS folks deem Kickstarter-worthy. Somehow this LSL sequel was worthy, but an <$30K mobile application to reduce the suffering of a few thousand patients? Guess not.
