A norwegian startup focusing on helping people out of debt has hidden 1,078,218NOK in the Norwegian forrest. 1,078,218 represents each norwegian citizen with some form of consumer debt, and thus a marketing means of getting someone out of debt, while creating a marketing stunt.

The money is chained and locked while a live video feedback shows the money container. https://horde.no/jakten/

I figured some of the best ways to figure out where the box is located would be:

1: When does the sun go up or down (but the camera deactivates its nightvision at 0800, so it is hard to tell how bright it is).

2: note down when it starts raining and compare it with weather reports. Done consistency, then one would have a heat map that could pin point a region.

3: Animals (this morning a bird was recorded) could potentially narrow in where in the country, although i doubt that will be very effective.

4: Plants and trees: Identifying what is in the view could help.

5: Ideally, from a technical perspective then one would be able to pinpoint the ip address of the camera feed, but i am not clever enough to hack my way to something like that.
