They’re an order of magnitude more powerful than a Pi or a clone, and are much easier to deal with from a compatibility standpoint. The power considerations are pretty negligible from a cost per year perspective. I really only use mine for pseudo IOT applications where space is a factor, like for OctPi and a Shairplay receiver. |
