Forgive me here, I'm not close to the topic - if the latter is true, why is that anti-semitic? It feel the premise may be anti-Israeli, but I think it would be mistaken to conflate being Isreali with being Jewish. I'm sure there's a significant overlap, but there are non-Jewish Isrealis, and non-Isreali Jews. I'm also under the impression that many oppose Israel not on religious grounds, but political and ideological grounds. |
