Saying that you know you can and should denounce a terrorist group for slaying 1300+ Jews, and then not doing that, is a bit tone-deaf for the Jewish folks that are still in mourning from watching the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

I am a humanist. My heart is for everybody including the Jewish people who I see is my brothers and sisters.

I was raised in a Muslim household. We are not actually unfortunately as crazy as people want us to be.

Plenty calm. The context of the past 100 years of Jews being slaughtered by the millions kind of does have to do with this conflict.

100% denounce Hamas for slaughtering Jewish people in their own homes. 100% denounce the Israeli government's treatment of Gaza. My heart breaks for civilians of Israel and civilians of Palestine.

That's good. But again the Holocaust is something was done to Jews by the German Nazis. You cannot just hold that against other people. If you feel that someone needs to pay the price then you might advocate for a Jewish state in German. That would be more suitable. That's a discussion that we can have and could disagree but not here.

But for now this is a post about potential ongoing genocide. Nothing justifies that and bringing the atrocities committed in the past against Jews are not suitable because it can be easily be interpreted as justification (they are not). And your choice of words is biased "slaughtering Jewish people in their own homes" vs "Israeli government's treatment of Gaza" does not capture the reality of the atrocities. But that's fine I did not expect that anyway.
