I think fluidity of technology as an industry gives people the opportunity to treat it more as a default, in contrast to other industries. For example, a person trained in finance or biology will struggle more-so to find opportunities within other fields, while tech encompasses many industries.

Just talking with some folks, there’s a strong desire to ‘optimize’ seemingly archaic industries to be up to speed on current technologies. I personally see tech as a tool to do just that, advance and upgrade where we can, in an industry or on a project that I find meaningful.

Agree with your perspective on the fluidity of the technology industry. Technology, in many ways, has become the backbone of numerous industries, making it a versatile and ever-evolving field. However this opportunity would only be strengthened from self-discovery and introspection.
This is why I say that there will never be a shortage of opportunity for a technical entrepreneur. The need for tech skill is ever growing, and yet, the level of passion to be a true entrepreneur with tech as a utility remains constant. The majority of the work force will just want to clock in clock out, while those truly passionate about tech will always thrive no matter how many people ”default” into tech as a career
