This thread seems a bit out of touch. Most folks are speaking on the practicalities of a 3 party system but are missing the elephant in the room. IMO This isn't so much support for the 3 party system. It's the American public saying "Hey this is obviously broken so we need to do something.... anything". Just like if you ask the average person "Hey what should we do about AI?". They'll say something like "Stop it immediately! I don't want that crap taking my job". We all know it's wayyyy more nuanced than that but the takeaway is people are uncomfortable with AI. Most people are too busy to be well read on everything. |
