I usually have 2-10 tabs open, and ~100 bookmarks. But I save all the interesting links here: https://links.l3m.in/ . If this counts then I'm at 3.9k+ bookmarks.
I know Shaarli, Pinboard, Linkding... There are multiple solutions, but no single solution seems to be particularly popular outside the technological arena.
