Video encoding is a software feature, the sensor doesn't pick up Prores or HEVC therefore the product you are talking about is the software. The hardware has very little to do with it the video encoding other than possibly provide acceleration. As I said in the other comment in this thread, if you don't need prores you probably don't need to use the BMD app since the footage captured in HEVC on the stock app is likely good enough for your use case. |
