>I don't understand the question. Surely the answer depends which order you withdraw balls in? Is the idea that you blindly withdraw a ball at every step, and you are asking for the expected value of each number of ball at the end of the process? These are very good questions that anyone with the ability to reason would ask if given this problem. |
