Strong disagree regarding "multimedia". A "book" is the medium, but a passage of text from that book is a piece of "media". This piece of media might end up in an animated illustration that forms part of the "multimedia" presentation. The difference with "multi-mode transport" is the end result involves more than one type of transport - train and truck. But a "multimedia" presentation ends up as one thing, such as a CD-ROM from the early days of multimedia. |
