but depending on context you still refer to a pair of 32b DDR5 channels as "a single channel" e.g. if we speak about how many memory channels a x86 desktop, prosumer or server CPU have they count them as a single channel main reason for this is that DDR5 didn't split the channel instead of adding a new channel |
