Short circuit the problem by not taking so many photos. Ask yourself honestly, how often do you ever look at them? If you do, you've probably also got them organized. If you don't, then you're just hoarding.

This sounds a lot like Jobs’ famous “don’t hold it that way” suggestion to solve iPhone 4’s signal dropping.

Asking users to take fewer photos is not a useful solution to the problem of managing large photo libraries.
