I do all of my genealogy on wikitree. Some people don't like it because it's one big shared tree, so some stuff is pretty messed up and hard to untangle. But in general it's pretty good and a good interface (IMO) for building the tree and documenting sources (get on familysearch for finding sources). There are some image export options, and the platform is open for developers to build apps on top of the database.
