If I was hired as a programmer and my employer decides they would rather I pickup dog shit all day, I'm damn-well going to complain about it. Both TFA (and the comment you are replying to) are about people specifically hired for remote work prior to the pandemic; the status quo before COVID was those people working remotely. |
