Recognizing emergent behaviour has led to a lot of deeper understanding of the universe. Why should this be any different? I'm not saying there's some consciousness field that my mind is a perturbation of. But it is interesting that we all have more or less the same experience of existing even though we are simply a collection of atoms in a local low entropy state. |
