Sorry about the rant, but this kind of sub rubs me the wrong way. People quickly develop an entire subculture around something, start using their own insider language (autogogia, prophantasia, hyperphantasia) which quickly loops back onto itself in Google since it was unearthed from a random 1973 paper. Then they go on developing methods and theories without any scientific rigour, and sharing experiences with origin-story undertones.

Not to dismiss the whole idea, which I think has very solid ground, but this makes the perfect breeding ground for 'sociogenic ilnesses' like that fake-Tourette's epidemic a couple years ago.

The founder of the sub went through their own journey and have been rigorous, transparent about his process and methods.

It rubs me the wrong way you are so quick to judge about someone being unscientific all while showing that you didn't even bother spending 5~10 min on his content.
