After reading the article... It had lots of charging... wonder how dangerous it is to charge a battery that size and how well the battery holds up over time.
Which part did you read that says a lot of charging? The truck that drove 1,000 miles within 24 hours used the charging station 3 times during that period, ending the day with about 15% battery level
eyeballing it from the graph:
1st charge: 35% ~1hr
2nd charge: 90% ~1.5hr
3rd charge: 30% ~30 min
I don't know the battery capacity, but if that was known, you could probably figure out the charging rate.
The first charge looked slower from the slope of the line, the second it charged faster but tapered, and the third time fast too.
