In my experience (sticking to base services like vm, k8s and blob storage) they are more reliable than GCP and less confusing than AWS. They're managed offering is bad, but I don't touch managed services anymore after getting burned by them several times.

The Azure SQL Server offering is spectacular. I've been using their multi-region replication, and they offer point-in-time restores if something were to happen.

Also, they have really good documentation for high-availability (e.g., paired regions)

I'm surprised to hear you say that, VM and storage primitives seem incredibly unreliable though they have been progressing
Less confusing than aws? I had such a hard time with enterprise apps, AD apps, service principals... And you kind of need to use Azure AD to manage resources and access for tons of products.
