we might end up trusting AI to auto-matchmake for us, seeing as human decision making is not producing the outcomes that we want. However, there is a disincentive for Bumble and other match making platforms to actually make this work - successful pairings means loss of revenue - so chances of this problem ever being 'fixed' is remote. Perhaps we might end up with a 'success fee' model, similar to how staffing agencies operate? |
