I created SVGo, a Go package for generating SVG. (http://github.com/ajstarks/svgo) I use it for programming visualizations, and other creative coding tasks. For example, I use the goplay command and a browser, to "sketch with code", showing the code and resulting picture in one view -- I make a change, hit a keystroke and immediately see the result.
