I had the same problems as my elderly parents living abroad are not social media users. So I decided to create a sort of private Google photos meeting Google drive. It is called Memories (I realised FB have the same idea) and it can be found at https://m.emori.es I would be happy to provide beta access in return for constructive feedbacks.
