DietPi released a new version 8.22

DietPi is a lightweight Debian based Linux distribution for SBCs and server systems, with the option to install desktop environments, too. It ships as minimal image but allows to install complete and ready-to-use software stacks with a set of console based shell dialogs and scripts.

The project released the new version DietPi v8.22 on September 23th, 2023.

The highlights of this version are:

    Image format .xz: All images were changed from .7z to .xz for easier handling in flash tools
    Images startup via dietpi.txt: All images now have the opportunity to edit dietpi.txt and dietpi-wifi.txt in a windows environment
    ADS-B Feeder:  New software title, feeding plane tracking information
    Kavita: New software title, an open source comics/mangas/ebooks media server 
    Docker/Portainer: Enabled for Debian Trixie and also for usage in RISC-V boards
    NanoPi R4s, Orange Pi 5, ODROID C1: Update issue fixes
    Fixes and updates for Ampache, Bazarr, DietPi-Config
