haha.. that's hysterical. Maybe NY Mag should actually read 'American Prometheus' and then create a headline. Oppenheimer got a degree in Chemistry first, then decided to go into Theoretical Physics.. (what??).. then he did some of the most seminal work on early Black Hole cosmology.. oh, and then spearheaded the entire Los Alamos project (including dealing with the politics, the engineering, ballistics, and theory divisions). Sam Altman dropped out of a computer science program (after a year), and then became a VC.. yawn.
