To our users, Bump is a magical experience. What they don’t see is the math behind the scenes that detects a gesture and determines precisely which two phones bumped together in surprisingly creative ways. With our next wave of (still secret) products, machine learning will have an even greater user-facing impact.

At Bump you can use your machine learning expertise to directly enable new user interactions. We're not creating software and tools for data analysis and selling it as a product. We are using machine learning algorithms to fundamentally change the way we socialize and share.

If you

- have experience with algorithm development, classification and clustering techniques, rule-based heuristics, probability modeling, and other machine learning tools

- have many years of coding experience (C or Java, Python, etc)

- have a creative / devious mind

- and believe technology can change the way we socialize in the mobile world
