Jeff mentioned this in the article, but it really forces you to rethink your footer if you put important links there.

This is a problem I've noticed with Facebook's footer. On quite a few pages you just can't get to it. I thought it was an obvious problem but it doesn't seem like a lot of sites I use that implement it have put much thought into it.
