In fairness to the GP, the kind of CRT that would support a usable desktop session is light years away from the type of CRTs that cool-retro-term simulates.

Though if I was going to do something like this then personally I’d rather have a second screen as a CRT and have that resolution dropped right down, rather than “putting some crt in your crt”
