How do you know the “safety features” will be substandard? I worked at Jebel Ali power plant(worlds largest gas plant) just outside Dubai for two years installing and commissioning high voltage switchgear. The Emiratis(and their army of Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani/misc./ engineers and laborers) truly knows how to build large scale industries. I doubt they have taken any shortcut whatsoever. In my experience, they require everything to be 110% perfect. |
