I think opinions around software licenses are limited to us hackers,
and the actively code-publishing subset of us, moreover. From my POV the GPL certainly seems alive and well, and the ideology
of the Free Software movement remains sound and strong. What I'm alluding to is the wider public. In
<podcast-i-dare-not-mention> we literally walked around town
interviewing young and old. Soon as I can, I'll share the results in a
HN submission. |
