So in your view all genocide is justified because statistically no large group of people is all saints? The idea is not to make past atrocities go away, but to point out if certain participants were more of a good guy or bad guy. Or gal. Naming a mountain/street/whatever after you, or having a statue is a sign that you are considered a good guy. So this decision reverses that. |
