Apple doesn't have "way fewer CVEs for macOS/iOS". Apple ranks 5th overall, and 4th so far in 2023, by vendor. In 2015 they were #1. CVEs track closely with the number of users a platform has, and the incentives to comprise that platform. https://www.cvedetails.com/top-50-vendors.php |
