Imagine if current IC cars were like this. If you have a BMW, Ford and Honda you can only buy Shell gas, if you drive a Tesla only AMCO, and if you drive a Daimler you can only go to Sinclair. Not because the fuel is any different, not because the cars are any different, but because the nozzle is a different size and none of the gas stations take cash or card, you can only pay via their in house, poorly coded, unreliable apps. No wonder people are struggling to adopt electric cars. If gas cars were this way I would have stopped driving years ago. Edited:typo |
