While I've always been happy with the VS Code ecosystem, I'd be lying if I said that JetBrains products haven't been a favorite of many developers I've worked with. Disappointing that the open source plugin is a casualty, but this is probably a net positive for getting Rust into more hands that might need it. Writing Rust with and without IDE help is a night and day experience and having an official, goto, commercially supported product is great news. |
