What doesnt make it believeable is that it‘s 1k years old and apparently a fossil. Oetzi is 5k years old but is not fossilised.

I think it’s a mistranslation the bodies in question are desiccated not fossilized.

That said 1k vs 5k years don’t matter much fossilization requires very specific conditions to occur.
